Five categories are quoted after the examination rather than from a list:
The reason is the same in each: the plan is decided by what the examination finds. An implant choice in lens surgery, the number of IVF cycles, whether one joint or two, how many sessions a skin plan needs. A figure published before any of that is a number that will change, and a number that changes is worse than no number.
The procedure, the hospital, the anaesthetist where one is needed, medication, private airport transfers, a translator in your language at every appointment, help booking a hotel near the clinic, and the follow-up programme.
The flight, and the hotel room itself. That is the whole list. If anything else appears after you arrive, it is a mistake and it gets corrected rather than argued about.
Running costs in Turkey are lower than in Western Europe: staff, premises, and the overheads around them. The implants, the materials and the protocols are the same brands with the same evidence base.
Where a clinic is genuinely cheaper than the figures on this page, ask what changed: the material, the surgeon's involvement, the number of nights, or whether the follow-up exists at all. Those are the four places the difference usually hides.
