How Swedish Clinic Istanbul handles your personal and medical data, and the terms under which treatment is provided.

We collect only what a treatment plan requires: your name, contact details, the photos or X-rays you choose to send, and the medical history relevant to the procedure you are asking about. Contact details are used to reply to you and to coordinate your treatment and travel. Medical data is used to prepare your plan and to treat you safely. We do not sell data and we do not share it with advertisers.
For patients in the EU/EEA and the UK we process personal data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract and performance of it) and health data under Article 9(2)(h) (provision of health care by health professionals bound by professional secrecy). For patients in Türkiye the equivalent basis under KVKK Law No. 6698 applies. Marketing messages are sent only with your separate, explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Medical records are retained for the period required by Turkish health legislation — currently 20 years for hospital records. Enquiries that do not lead to treatment are deleted within 24 months. Consent records are kept for as long as the consent is relied upon plus three years.
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of anything inaccurate, deletion where retention is not legally required, restriction of processing, and portability of the data you provided. Write to info@swedishclinicturkey.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, or in Türkiye with the KVKK Board.

Prices quoted are all-inclusive packages valid for 60 days from the date of the quote, covering the specialist, hospital, medication, VIP transfers, translation and the aftercare described in the plan. Flights are not included unless stated in writing. Every treatment plan is provisional until confirmed by the clinician in person after examination; if the examination changes the plan, you are told the revised price before anything is done and you are free to decline. Deposits are refundable up to 14 days before the appointment. Guarantees on dental work and hair transplantation are given in writing in your treatment file and depend on the aftercare instructions being followed.
