Which Hair Goes Into An Eyebrow, And Why.
Eyebrow grafts come from the back of the scalp, and the exact strip matters. We take from the nape and just above it, where hair is finest and grows in a flatter, softer pattern than crown hair. Crown hair produces a bristly brow, and it cannot be undone by trimming.

Afterwards: Trimming, Taming, The First Year.
- Days 1-7. Tiny crusts on the brow. They fall on their own.
- Weeks 3-8. The transplanted hairs shed, exactly as scalp grafts do. The brow looks thinner than before the operation for a while. Nothing has failed.
- Months 3-6. Regrowth begins, and it grows like scalp hair, which means it keeps growing. You will need to trim it, roughly every two to three weeks, for life.
- Months 9-12. Calibre and lie settle. Brow hairs can be trained with a light brow gel in the first year while they learn the direction.
