Botulinum toxin type A temporarily blocks the signal travelling from nerve to muscle, so the muscles that fold the skin at the forehead, glabella and outer eye corners relax. The lines they create soften over three to seven days and settle by two weeks.
Dermal FillersDermal fillers are gels of hyaluronic acid, a sugar the skin already produces to hold water. Placed at the right depth, deep on bone for cheek and jaw support, superficially for fine lines. They replace volume lost with age rather than stretching the skin.
PRP TherapyPRP starts with a standard blood draw. The sample is spun in a centrifuge so that the platelets, the cells that carry growth factors, are separated and concentrated, then this plasma is injected into the dermis of the face or around the hair follicles of the scalp.
MesotherapyMesotherapy uses very fine needles to deposit small amounts of an active mixture just below the surface of the skin, where creams cannot reach. The mixture is chosen for the problem: hyaluronic acid and vitamins for dull, dehydrated skin; other combinations for the scalp.
Thread LiftA thread lift uses absorbable sutures, usually polydioxanone, with small barbs along their length. They are passed through a needle entry point into the layer beneath the skin, then drawn upward so the barbs hold the tissue in its new position.
Laser Hair RemovalLaser hair removal works because melanin in the hair shaft absorbs the laser light and turns it into heat, which damages the follicle that produces the hair. Only follicles in their active growth phase respond, and at any moment that is a minority of them, which is why a course of six to eight sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, is needed rather than one visit.
Skin RejuvenationSkin rejuvenation is a plan rather than one machine. A dermatologist first reads what is actually causing the dullness, sun damage, uneven pigment, shallow scarring, loss of collagen, then chooses the tool for it.

Dissolvable product can be reversed in minutes with hyaluronidase. Permanent gels are removed surgically, often with scarring, and they age badly in a mobile lip.
Botox is not fully in at day five, and topping up early is how eyebrows end up uneven. Filler is placed conservatively and added to at the review if it needs it.
PRP improves hair that still exists and does not regrow it on skin that has been smooth for years. Laser needs pigment, so white and fine blond hair cannot be treated at all.
Filler under an eye that wakes puffy makes it worse for months. A face that has lost its support gets dimpling from threads, not lift. Both are told at the consultation.

How much do non-surgical treatments cost in Istanbul, Turkey?
At Swedish Clinic, Botox starts from €150 per area, dermal fillers from €250 per syringe and PRP from €200 per session. Mesotherapy, thread lift, laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation are priced after the examination, because the cost depends on the area, the mixture or the number of threads. You receive a written, all-inclusive figure before anything is booked.

Most of these treatments are outpatient and fit into 1-3 days; a thread lift needs 2-3. The exception is anything that works as a course: laser hair removal takes six to eight sessions four to six weeks apart, and mesotherapy four to six. Those only make sense if you come to Istanbul regularly, and we say so rather than sell you a single session.

The same doctor examines your face, maps which muscles actually move it before injecting, and reviews the result with you at two weeks: in clinic if you are still here, or from photographs once you are home.

After Botox, essentially none: pinpoint marks or mild redness for an hour or two, and we ask you to stay upright and skip the gym, the sauna and rubbing the area that day. Fillers can bruise and swell for a few days. A thread lift means two to three days of swelling, with no hard chewing or dental work for two weeks.

Some will not, and we prefer to say so early. Laser does nothing to grey or very fine blonde hair. PRP thickens hair that is still there but will not regrow a bald area, a graft is the honest answer. A thread lift lifts by millimetres, so advanced sagging needs surgery. Botox is not given during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
