Turkey has excellent clinics and dangerous ones. These three documents separate them faster than any review site.
Turkey's Ministry of Health licenses facilities specifically for treating international patients. It is a numbered certificate you can ask to see. A clinic that treats foreigners without one is operating outside the framework designed to protect you.
Ask for the treating dentist's name and diploma number, and confirm that the person you meet on the day is the person who treats you. In the clinics that generate horror stories, the consultation is with a doctor and the treatment with an assistant.
Temos, JCI or equivalent accreditation means an outside body has audited sterilisation, records, consent processes and complication handling. It is not marketing — it is an audit you can verify with the accrediting organisation directly.
Written treatment plan before you fly, itemised price, implant brand named in writing, a warranty document, and a named coordinator who answers after you return home. If any of those five is missing, keep looking.
Ask in advance. We provide a written warranty, remote follow-up and, where needed, cover the revision — but you should demand that in writing from any clinic.
