The best time of year to come for treatment

April–June and September–November: mild weather, comfortable recovery and easier flights. July is the one to avoid.

Spring and autumn are ideal

Temperatures of 18-25°C, low humidity and long daylight. Comfortable for walking, for sleeping without heavy air conditioning, and for wearing compression garments, which is a bigger factor than most patients expect.

Why summer is harder

July and August reach 32-35°C with high humidity. Swelling worsens in heat, sun exposure on fresh scars causes permanent pigmentation, and compression garments become genuinely difficult to tolerate.

Winter has advantages

December to March is cool and quiet, hotels are cheaper and clinic schedules are more flexible. The trade-off is short daylight and rain, but for recovery indoors, that hardly matters.

Practical booking notes

Turkish public holidays and the two religious holidays shift each year and affect flights and traffic, not clinic availability. We flag them when scheduling so you are not paying peak fares unnecessarily.

The Ones People Actually Ask.

Is Ramadan a problem for treatment?

No. The clinic and hospital work normally; traffic patterns and restaurant hours change, which we plan around.
