A Symptom, Not A Diagnosis.

Erectile dysfunction follows something: narrowed blood vessels, diabetes, low testosterone, medication, anxiety, or a combination. Treating it without finding out which is guesswork, and it frequently settles once the cause is corrected.

The Assessment Comes First.

Erectile dysfunction is a symptom, not a diagnosis. It can follow narrowed blood vessels, diabetes, low testosterone, medication side effects, anxiety, or a combination of them.

So the first step is an assessment: history, blood tests and, where useful, a penile Doppler ultrasound. Only then does a treatment plan mean anything.

Why We Check Your Heart.

Vascular ED can be an early warning of heart disease. The same narrowing that affects the penile vessels affects the coronary ones, and the smaller vessels usually show it first.

That is why the cardiac side is checked here rather than left for you to raise with your own doctor later. It is the single most useful thing an ED assessment can find.

Treatment Follows The Cause.

  • Reviewing medication that is contributing.
  • Correcting hormones.
  • Oral therapy.
  • Low-intensity shockwave to the penile vasculature.
  • Injections.
  • A penile implant, when other routes have failed.

The order matters. An implant is the end of the list, not a first offer.

It Often Settles Without A Procedure.

Erectile dysfunction frequently resolves once medication or hormones are corrected. Where that is the case we say so, and there is nothing further to sell.

Plan two to three days in Istanbul for an assessment. Appointments are one to one and everyone in the room, including your translator, is bound by medical confidentiality.

The Ones People Actually Ask.

How much do men's health treatments cost in Turkey?

We do not publish prices for men's health, because the plan comes from the examination, a varicocele repair, a filler session and a course of shockwave are different procedures with different costs. After your free pre-consultation you receive a written, all-inclusive quote covering the procedure, the hospital, medication, transfers and translation. Nothing is added later unless the clinical picture changes, and then only in writing.

Is urological surgery in Turkey safe?

Ours is. The procedure takes place in a licensed full-fledged hospital with an intensive care unit in the same building, under a Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate issued by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health. We also hold Temos international accreditation and an ISO 9001 (UKAS) certified management system. Ask any clinic abroad for those three documents before you book, a genuine one sends them.

How many days do I need in Istanbul?

It depends on the procedure: 2-3 days for adult circumcision or an ED assessment, 3-4 days for varicocele surgery, and 3-5 days for penile aesthetics with one hospital night. Every plan includes the consultation, the procedure itself and a review appointment before you fly, so you never leave without your wound or result being checked.

Who will carry out my treatment?

A specialist urologist registered with the Turkish Ministry of Health, never an assistant or a technician. You see the same doctor at the assessment, during the procedure and at the review before you fly home. The specialist register is public, so ask for the full name and check it; it takes about three minutes.

How long is the recovery?

Most men are back at desk work two to three days after circumcision or a penile filler session, and within a few days of microsurgical varicocele repair. Strenuous exercise and sexual activity are usually paused for four to six weeks depending on the procedure. Your urologist gives you a written timeline and confirms it at the wound check.

How do I know whether I actually need treatment?

You may not. Small, painless varicoceles are often monitored rather than operated on, erectile dysfunction frequently settles once medication or hormones are corrected, and some requests in penile aesthetics cannot be met by any technique. We assess first, history, examination and, where useful, ultrasound or blood tests, and we say so when the honest answer is no treatment.

Do you arrange hotel, transfers and translation, and is it confidential?

Yes to both. We organise private airport transfers, a translator in your language and help with hotel booking near the clinic in Şişli. Appointments are one-to-one, everyone in the room including your translator is bound by medical confidentiality, and your records are not shared with anyone without your written consent.
