What Each System Is Genuinely Good At.
Mild to moderate crowding, spacing, relapse after childhood braces, minor bite refinement. That covers the majority of adult cases.
Large rotations of round teeth such as premolars, bringing down an impacted canine, closing extraction spaces bodily, and controlling the vertical dimension in a deep bite.
We will tell you when the invisible option cannot deliver rather than starting a case that has to be rescued later.
Wear Time Is The Whole Argument.
An aligner only moves teeth while it is in your mouth, and every plan assumes twenty to twenty-two hours a day.
At eighteen hours the sequence starts to lag, trays stop seating fully at the edges, and the case quietly falls behind until it has to be re-scanned and restarted. Fixed braces remove that variable entirely because you cannot take them out. If you know you are not a disciplined wearer, brackets are the cheaper choice in the end.
What It Means If You Are Flying In.
Treatment starts at €1,400, and the two options sit closer in price than people expect, because the laboratory cost of a full aligner series offsets the chair time brackets consume. The real difference for an international patient is the visit count.

If your case genuinely needs fixed appliances we say so, and help you arrange adjustments with an orthodontist at home rather than pretending monthly flights are practical. A treatment plan that ignores your geography is not a plan.
The Retainer Is Not The Optional Part.
Teeth have a memory. The fibres around each root were stretched during treatment and they pull back towards the original position for years afterwards, fastest in the first six months.
Skipping a retainer for a few weeks in that window is enough to see visible relapse in the lower front teeth. The retainer is nightly, and it is for life. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not going to be there when the crowding returns.
Braces Or Veneers?
They are not alternatives to one another. Orthodontics moves teeth; veneers cover them.
Where teeth are healthy and simply out of position, moving them keeps the enamel and costs nothing in tissue. Where the problem is colour or shape as well as position, a short course of alignment followed by minimal veneers usually removes far less tooth than veneers alone would have needed. Covering a crowded arch with ceramic is the fastest route to a smile that looks bulky and needs remaking.

Simple cases are completed in one 3-5 day visit in Istanbul and All-on-4 full arches in 4-6 days, with the final fitting on your second trip or via a temporary bridge.
Why are dental implants cheaper in Turkey than in Europe?
Lower running costs, favourable exchange rates and high patient volume, not lower quality. We use the same German-made implant systems and CAD/CAM zirconium as European clinics, in an internationally accredited hospital with a Turkish Ministry of Health tourism licence.
