Hollywood Smile: what nobody tells you before you book
The result depends far less on the material than on proportion, shade choice and how much healthy enamel is removed.
It is a design, not a product
A Hollywood Smile is 16-20 crowns or veneers designed as one unit. The design decides everything: incisal edge line, tooth width ratios, midline alignment with the face, and how much of the upper teeth show at rest. Material choice comes last.
The shade trap
B1 or brighter looks striking in a mirror at the clinic and artificial in daylight photographs. We shade-match against your eye whites and skin tone, and we show you a mock-up in your mouth before anything is cemented, if you want it brighter after seeing it, that is your informed decision.
How much tooth is removed
Zirconium crowns need light circumferential preparation; laminate veneers need very little or none. Any clinic that grinds healthy teeth to pegs for a 'faster' result is destroying tissue you will never get back. Ask to see the preparation photos of previous cases.
What it costs and how long it takes
In monolithic zirconium, a 20-unit smile is completed in one 5-7 day visit because design, milling and fitting all happen in the same building.
The Ones People Actually Ask.
Will I be able to see the design first?
Yes. A digital design and a physical mock-up in your mouth are approved by you before any permanent work is cemented.
More On Dental.
