Board certification, hospital privileges and case photographs of your specific procedure — everything else is decoration.
'Aesthetic doctor' and 'plastic surgeon' are not the same thing. In Turkey, plastic surgeons are registered specialists; the Ministry of Health register is public. Ask for the full name and check it — this takes three minutes.
A surgeon may be excellent and the facility inadequate. Ask which hospital, whether it has an ICU, and whether the surgeon has admitting privileges there. Office-based surgery for major body work is a red line.
Ask for cases of your procedure, on a body type like yours, photographed at the same angle and lighting before and after, with the interval stated. Cherry-picked hero shots without dates tell you nothing.
A surgeon who tells you what you should not have done is more valuable than one who agrees with everything. If nobody has said 'no' to any part of your request, you are talking to sales, not surgery.
Price should be a filter, never the criterion. The cheapest quote and the most expensive are equally uninformative on their own.
