What All-on-4 really costs over ten years, not day one
An arch starts at €2,900 including the fixed provisional bridge, but the honest comparison is ten years of maintenance, not the number you pay on day one.
The day-one price, itemised
An All-on-4 arch starts at €2,900 here, and that figure covers four implants, the surgery and the fixed provisional bridge you leave with on the same day. The final bridge is quoted separately because the material changes it substantially: acrylic on a titanium bar sits at one end of the range and monolithic zirconium at the other. Anyone quoting a single all-inclusive number without naming the final bridge material is quoting a figure you cannot compare.
What the following ten years actually cost
Budget for a professional clean and check every six months, an X-ray once a year, and a night guard if you grind. That guard is the cheapest insurance in dentistry. An acrylic final bridge realistically needs replacement or major refurbishment once within ten to fifteen years; a zirconium one usually does not. Screws are occasionally retightened, which is a twenty-minute appointment rather than a repair. Compare that with a denture relined every two to three years.
The costs people forget to count
Two trips, not one: surgery and the provisional on the first, the final bridge three to four months later. Flights, hotel nights and time off work are real costs and belong in the comparison, and they are still small against the €12,000 to €25,000 a full arch costs privately in the UK or Germany. Count your maintenance visits at home too. We send the implant passport and records so any dentist there can take over.
What we will not put in a quote
We do not quote a price before seeing a cone-beam scan, because a jaw needing a sinus lift, or six implants instead of four, is a different plan and we would rather say so now than at the chair. Six implants add roughly €600 to €900 per arch. Everything we do quote arrives itemised in writing before you fly, and it does not change afterwards unless the clinical picture changes and you agree first.
The Ones People Actually Ask.
Does the €2,900 All-on-4 price include the final bridge?
It includes four implants, the surgery and the fixed provisional bridge. The final bridge is itemised separately because the material is your decision, and you receive both figures in writing before travelling.
How long does an All-on-4 bridge last?
The implants are intended to be permanent and the prosthesis on top is the wearing part. Monolithic zirconium typically runs 15 to 20 years; acrylic on titanium is shorter and planned as replaceable.
