Digital smile design: seeing the result before you commit
A mock-up in your own mouth is worth more than a hundred before-and-after photos of strangers.
From photographs to proportions
We photograph your face at rest, smiling and in profile, then scan the teeth. Software maps tooth width ratios, the incisal curve and the midline against your facial landmarks, the same proportions that make a smile read as 'natural' rather than manufactured.
The wax-up and the mock-up
The design is milled into a physical model, then transferred into your mouth as a temporary composite mock-up. You walk around with it, photograph it in daylight, and tell us what to change before a single tooth is prepared.
Why this kills the horror stories
Almost every 'Turkey teeth' disaster shares two features: teeth prepared before any design existed, and a shade the patient never saw in daylight. Both are impossible when a mock-up is approved first.
What it adds to the timeline
One appointment and about a day of laboratory time. It is included in our smile design packages rather than sold as an extra, because working without it is guesswork.
The Ones People Actually Ask.
Can I change my mind after seeing the mock-up?
That is exactly what it is for. Shape, length and shade can all be adjusted before anything permanent happens.
