Grafts wait in a chilled holding solution at roughly four degrees, not in room-temperature saline. Team size matters too, because more trained technicians implanting in parallel shortens the queue. This is the practical reason we cap single-day volume instead of quoting a record number to win a booking.
You cannot watch a stopwatch during your own surgery, but you can inspect the structure around it. Ask how many technicians will be in theatre, whether extraction and implantation overlap, and how the day is scheduled around breaks.
